How to Use +

Root Reset
Use once a week or when your hair needs a deep scalp detox.

  1. Empty one Root Reset sachet into a bowl. Add 2–3 tbsp water/yoghurt/Scalp Primer and mix until smooth and spreadable.
  2. Apply to scalp and hair, section by section. Leave on 20–30 minutes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Scalp Primer

  1. Apply Scalp Primer pre-wash (with root reset/on its own) - short 1–2 pumps, medium 2–3, long 3–5 and massage in gently.
  2. Leave on 30 minutes to 2 hours for best results.
  3. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Do I use these together, or separately? +
You can use either on its own - Root Reset once a week, Scalp Primer before every wash. Or you can use them together for a deep scalp detox, in this order: Root Reset + few drops of Scalp Primer mixed and applied as a hair mask.
How long will the Strengthen & Shine duo last me? +
Root Reset's 6-pack covers about six weekly resets. Scalp Primer's 50ml bottle lasts 6–8 weeks used weekly - so the duo is built to run alongside itself for about 2-2.5 months.
Is it safe for colour-treated or chemically-treated hair? +
Yes. Both are sulphate-free, paraben-free and fragrance-free, and applied before your wash, so they work with colour-treated, keratin-treated and relaxed hair. As with anything new, patch test before first use.
How often should I use each? +
Root Reset once a week. Scalp Primer once before every wash, or at least once a week. Consistency is the ritual - most people notice the difference between weeks four and eight.
Why is it fragrance-free? What does it smell like? +
We add no synthetic fragrance to either product - what you smell is the natural aroma of the botanicals themselves: earthy, herbal, gone after you rinse.
